Description

Introduction: The Everest Base Camp trek and Gokyo Nepal is arguably the most famous trekking route in the world and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable and should really be in the top 10 of things to do in life.

Itinerary:


  • Day 01 - 09 Oct Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m,30 minutes scenic flight) and trek to Phadking (2700m) 
  • Day 02 - 10 Oct Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m) 
  • Day 03 - 11 Oct Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3420m). 
  • Day 04 - 12 Oct Namche to Tengboche (3850m) 
  • Day 05 - 13 Oct Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m). /Dingboche (4350m) 
  • Day 06 - 14 Oct Acclimatization in Pheriche/Dingboche 
  • Day 07 - 15 Oct Pheriche/Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m) 
  • Day 08 - 16 Oct Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5160m) 
  • Day 09 - 17 Oct Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp (5350m) 
  • Day 10 - 19 Oct Trek back to Pheriche. 
  • Day 11 - 20 Oct Trek to Dzongla. 
  • Day 12 - 21 Oct Cross Cho La Pass and trek to other side of the pass. 
  • Day 13 - 22 Oct Trek to Gokyo Lakes. 
  • Day 14 - 23 Oct Climb Gokyo Ri and local excursion. 
  • Day 15 - 24 Oct Trek to Luza. 
  • Day 16 - 25 Oct Trek to Namche. 
  • Day 17 - 26 Oct Trek to Lukla. 
  • Day 18 - 27 Oct Fly Lukla / Kathmandu 
  • Day 19 - 28 Oct Leisure Day in Kathmandu and Fly to Hyderabad 


Trek Details -18 Days Trek

Scenic flight to Lukla; Sherpa home town; Monasteries; amazing view of mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Views of Khumbu Ice - Fall, Sherpa's village, Tengboche Monastery, Everest Base Camp, Kalapathar, Chola Pass, Gokyo Ri

Distance: from Lukla to EBC to Gokyo and back to Lukla- 160 KM

Damages: US $1000 ( Rs 45 K) approximate ball park figure per head.

The US $1000 fee includes, Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, guide fee, porter fee, 3 times food & tea-house/hotel rents starting from Kathmandu to Base camp and back. First Aid, and other essential items.

This is a community and informal group of like minded outdoor enthusiasts, the costs are actual expenses on the trek, No one personally benefits from any contributions, Accounts will be maintained and anything that is left will be returned to the members 

Cost Excludes:
Travel cost to Kathmandu and departure from Kathmandu 
Travel Insurance (this is a mandatory) US $ 20 
Rental for warm wear and trekking shoes/equipment if not carrying one US $ 40-50

The Trek is moderate to difficult and requires good health and physical fitness, Age limit is between 21 - 40 years, There is a need to practice & prepare at least 60 days in advance.
